TalkTalk offers TV as a bundling option to its broadband and phone customers. It’s not available to customers without these products. Triple-play packages come with longer 18 month contract length though you can add and remove TV channels using flexible, one month TV boost option.
The standard TV pack which is included in the bundle comes with 80 freeview channels (15 in HD), a free TV set-top box (Youview box) and on-demand video players like BBC iPlayer and Netflix.
For extra channels, you can add TV boosts like entertainment, TV Select, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, kids and world that will cost extra from £6 a month.
TalkTalk TV Boxes
The standard box (YouView box) has only pause and rewind functions while the Plus TV box (Youview+ box) which can record and save TV shows on its 300GB storage though this comes with upfront cost.
TalkTalk TV bundles include unlimited, standard or fibre broadband and pay as you go calls, You can add call boosts like anytime, mobile and international calls. For more information, read our TalkTalk broadband review.
TalkTalk also offers apps so you can watch TV shows on your mobile devices while on the go. You can rent or buy latest movies from its store.
They are add-ons that you can subscribe for watching specific collections of channels like sports, kids and movies etc. There is no contract and you just pay for a month.
TV Select Boost
This pack includes 15 popular channels including 6 Sky channels, along with freeview channels.
It offers 33 popular TV channels like Lifetime, H2and 1000+ on demand videos and more.
Sky Cinema Boost
This boost includes 11 Sky Cinema channels and 1200 on demand TV shows and more.
Sky Sports Boost
All the 8 Sky sports channels are included in this boost

TalkTalk TV customer satisfaction report
TalkTalk TV complaints remained low in Q4 2018, as per Ofcom’s report. There were just 7 complaints per 100,000 customers which was slightly above the industry average.
